Gudjohnsen Wants The Tottenham’s Team

Friday, January 29th, 2010

Tottenham is ready to sign the Monaco striker Eidur Gudjohnsen on loan until this season will come to an end.

The former of Chelsea and Barcelona, a 31 years old guy, had a medical at Upton Park in order to have a change, a bit late one, of heart when he learnt of interest of Spurs.

The boss, Harry Redknapp, was known to have been quoted as saying that the chairman did a deal for Eider. They spoke to him the next day and they took him on loan until the season’s end to see how everything goes.

Therefore, the Iceland international’s U-turn did fail if they wanted to impress the new Hammers co-owner David Sullivan. He also admitted that they thought they did a great deal and the player even had a medical. After that, they have heard that Tottenham has tried to speak to the player.

He said that he could not say he is delighted about what’s happening, but he thinks in karma and as we al know, “what goes around, comes around.”

Gudjohnsen is the person who first made his great name, with Bolton Wanderers and even in England. Then, he decided to move to Chelsea with a deal of almost 8 million dollars.
